Larry  Fox

Larry started leading Boy Scout hikes 54 years ago (in the mid-Mesozoic era), and has kept leading hikes ever since. He grew up in Chicago, lived all over the place, and traveled almost thirty years for business. Early on, he was rescued from an academic life by a mistaken job change that led to a career as a turn-around manager, and then rescued again by finance-wise partners who wanted no part of administration of the group they formed. From hiking over thirty-five years in Joshua Tree and our Valley,Larry knows a lot of trails and loves the less hiked ones the most. He especially loves longer, scenic hikes at a moderate pace.
