SUMMARY:Cedar Springs Trail to Cedar Springs Campground
DESCRIPTION:This 6.5 mile hike starts at the Cedar Springs Trailhead off Morris Ranch Road in Garner Valley. It begins in an oak grove, along a stream and continues through a pasture where we may see long horn cattle grazing. It then climbs for 1.5 miles up a series of switchbacks until reaching the top and instersects with the PCT at Desert Divide. From here the trail heads down towards the desert for 1 mile to the Cedar Spring campground area where there may be running water. This is a great spot for a lunch or snack. We will return the same way back to the Morris Ranch Road Trailhead.\nDistance: 6.5 miles\nElevation Gain: 1,500 feet\nPace: Medium, 2 mph\nGroup Size: 12\nMeeting Spot: 8:30am at Cedar Spring Trailhead off Morris Ranch Road.
