SUMMARY:SAN JACINTO PEAK from PS Aerial Tram
DESCRIPTION:This spectacular hike is best done in summertime when the valley is so hot! We’ll meet at the Palm Springs Aerial Tram Station at 7:30 am in time to line up for the 8am Tram. Then we’ll hike to Long Valley, Round Valley and on up to Wellman Divide with its expansive views. Continuing, we’ll go another 2.7 miles to San Jacinto Peak. There is some fairly easy rock scrambling at the top. San Jacinto is the second highest mountain peak in Southern California, at 10,834 ft.\nParking for the Tram is free if you are a Coachella Valley resident, or have a summer or year-round pass.
