"A hiker with a biking problem"--that's what Mary's card reads. Since her retirement as an executive from a medical device company, hiking and biking have been her job. Mary recently relocated permanently to Palm Desert after 10 years as a snowbird. She has been a club member for over 10 years, hike leader, and served on the Executive Council as Social Chairperson and Club President. Mary is also on the Board for the Friends of CV Link, a transportation corridor from Palm Springs to the Salton Sea. Mary leads bike rides across the valley.
MAGNESIA FALLS TO CATHEDRAL CANYON
Hike through canyons and palm groves. Climb dry waterfalls. Colorful rock formations. Potential to see Bighorn sheep. Car shuttle required. Long pants and gloves recommended. Must be comfortable scrambling over rocks and large boulders. 12 person max.
