PHOTO SECTION HIKE: IMPERIAL SAND DUNES WILDERNESS
UPDATE: HIKE IS NOW FULL
Here we go! Another Photo Section sponsored hike, geared toward any CVHC member interested in photography, from iPhone user on up.
We haven’t done this trip for a couple of years, so it’s about time to do it again. The Imperial Sand Dunes Wilderness is located one half hour east of Brawley. We arrive there in time to take advantage of the late afternoon light, photographing the shadows and beauty of the area until after sunset. Afterward there’s a stop for a bite of Mexican food, at Nana Dora’s in Brawley.
It’s a 90 minute drive to get there from Palm Desert, carpooling is encouraged! Carpoolers: please remit $10 to drivers. Meetup information will be provided to attendees.
Hike Difficulty: Easy: 2 miles, elevation gain negligible.
*CVHC Members only. If this is your first time hiking with this leader, please call. If you have hiked with this leader before, please email.
UPDATE: AS OF 1/20/2020 HIKE IS AT CAPACITY AND CLOSED TO ADDITIONAL HIKERS –
