PINE CITY ADVENTURE, JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK

This hike always rates highly with club and independent hikers.  It includes several special features:
Part One:  Off trail to spectacular wide swath of unusual Old Man Cacti.
AND
Part Two:  We’ll hike on a good trail to an area of stacked boulders, oak and Pinyon Pines.  Inside the boulder area is rumored to be a past “city” of small structures for a mining camp or a hideout for cattle rustlers. Today it’s an impressive garden of boulders in a serene spot.
