LOST HORSE MINE LOOP

Historical hike to one of the largest gold mines and stamp mills in the park.  This hike is a scenic desert loop that passes by other small mining operations and many Joshua Trees. Interesting geology features as well.

7 Miles with Elevation Gain of 1300 ft.

Meeting place: We will meet in Joshua Tree NP, at the Hemingway turnout, which is located on the right (west) side of Park Blvd, 7.7 miles beyond the West Entrance booth.

Meeting time: 8:45 am
