Gary is a retired Silicon Valley electronics executive and leads the Photography Focus Group. He and his wife Bev live year round in Rancho Mirage after nearly 30 years in the Bay Area, where their 2 sons still live.
CANCELLED: Photography Section Meeting-Guest Speaker-Aimee Byard, Bighorn Institute
Due to the Covid 19 outbreak and the possible risks for anyone attending our scheduled meeting, we are reluctantly cancelling our meeting. We were looking forward to Aimee Byard’s presentation; however, we feel it is in the best interests of everyone to cancel the meeting. We will endeavor to enlist Aimee to speak to us in the future.
This is not a hike but a CVHC Photography Section meeting. This group was formed within CVHC as a forum for improving hikers’ photographic skills for all levels of proficiency and types of cameras. GUEST SPEAKER: This meeting features a guest speaker, Aimee Byard, Associate Director and Biologist at the Bighorn Institute. Aimee will present the ecology, life history, and recovery efforts for the Peninsular bighorn sheep.
