I am from Washington state splitting my time between the North Cascades mountains and Lake Chelan. I hike a few times a week and love being in the hills. I discovered the Coachella Valley Hiking Club in 2021 and have been out with Joellen Leifer, Gene Demsey, Barb Brown and others. They sold me on helping lead some hikes myself near La Quinta which is where my winter quarters are. When not hiking in WA or CA, I am currently attempting to finish the Seven Summits in 2023-2024.

YUCCA PEAK VIA PCT – A XMAS EVE WORKOUT
Starts at the trailhead about a mile before the Whitewater Rangers station, in the Whitewater Preserve. This trail follows the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) south toward the windmills. Great views and flowers (seasonal). This hike will cancel in the event of a wind advisory.
Plan to meet at trailhead a few minutes before 7:30AM
9 Miles with Elevation gain 1800 ft.
