SOUTH LYKKEN TRAIL TO SECOND PICNIC TABLES

This hike will start at the south end of South Lykken trail, at the trailhead on South Palm Canyon Road. You’ll see the trailhead sign on the south side of the street.  

The trail switchbacks up for the first mile then levels out for a gently rolling walk with great valley views. There are two sets of tables; the first one is at 1.6 miles and the second set is at 4 miles, where we’ll turn around and retrace our steps to the trailhead. 

8 miles with an elevation gain of 1750 ft.
