HIKE IS FULL – EMAIL DAN TO GET ON WAITING LIST PACIFIC CREST TRAIL (PCT) NORTH NEAR PARADISE CAFE
This is an out-and-back hike. This portion of the beautiful trail has no steep sections and instead gently rolls through manzanita, pinyon pine, and other tall evergreens occasionally skirting massive boulders. This trail is used in the spring by PCT through hikers on their 2653 mile trek from Mexico to Canada. For those interested, the Paradise Cafe provides a good lunch stop following the hike.
5 miles, 600-800 foot elevation gain at a moderate pace.
Please email Daniel to sign up for this hike. Entrance to trailhead often missed so Dan will send directions. Hikers may collaborate on carpools. Trailhead Trailhead off Route 74 about a mile before Paradise Cafe.
