GAIL’S TRAIL TO KISSING ROCK
Join Mark for a scramble in the Painted Canyon area. Similar to Ladder Canyon but a different series of slot canyons. This route includes rock scrambling, lots of ladders and steep areas, tight narrow spaces and one short rope.
No one has been hurt on one of Mark’s scrambles but if you are afraid of heights or claustrophobic, this scramble is NOT for you.
Mark recommends wearing good hiking shoes; long pants and a light, long-sleeved shirt to protect your legs and arms; and gloves (like gardening gloves). Bring plenty of water.
Group size limited to 8 hikers.
Meet at Just Java on the southeast corner of Washington and Hovely at 9 AM. Car pool will be organized. Let Mark know if you can drive; 4-wheel drive preferred.
