PAINTED CANYON HIKES, WORM HOLE AND AURORA — HIKE IS FULL
***THIS HIKE IS FULL. We hope you’ll consider joining another hike. ***
Join Mark for a very pretty hike in the Painted Canyons. The group will hike Worm Hole and, if the group wants a second slot, will also hike Aurora.
This is a very pretty hike but is not just a walk. There will be some climbing and LOTS of ladders. This is not the ladder hike you might see in the local guide books. It’s a bit harder. The route includes using a rope to go down a steep slope. IF YOU HAVE A FEAR OF HEIGHTS OR ARE CLAUSTROPHIC, THIS IN NOT THE HIKE FOR YOU.
This route will take between 2 and 4 hours, depending on whether Aurora is included. Group size is limited to eight hikers.
Hikers will need gloves and long pants.
The group will meet at Just Java on the southeast corner of Washington and Hovely, Bermuda Dunes, at 8 AM.
