Margaret is a snowbird, living in La Quinta during the winters and Anacortes, WA during the summers. She's hiked, scrambled, and kayaked with the Mountaineers in WA and participated in CVHC hikes since 2017.
PACIFIC CREST TRAIL (PCT) NORTH OF HWY. 74 TO LIVE OAK SPRING OVERLOOK — FULL

We will hike from the PCT parking lot on the north side of Hwy 74 near the Paradise Cafe and wind up through beautiful rock formations with pines, amazing overlooks and continuing up to the intersection of the PCT and Live Oak Spring trail where we will have lunch. Views all the ways down to the desert, of Mt. San Jacinto and surrounding areas.
Car pools from Palm Desert to the trailhead will be organized.
