Cathy is from Winnetka IL, where she directs and choreographs a children's theater. She has been coming to our desert for the past 4 years and rediscovered her love for hiking. She spends 5 and 1/2 months here and have never met a hike that she didn't love! She can't wait to explore new hikes and take people on some of her favorites. The desert is so beautiful and there are so many hikes to explore!

ART SMITH TO PALM SPRINGS/NANCY BONE MEMORIAL HIKE
This hikes takes you through three palm oasis and crosses the upper region of Magnesia Canyon. It continues on to the Hahn Buena Vista Trail, Wildhorse and Garstin Trails. Panoramic Views and a grand tour through the heart of the wilderness. It starts in Palm Desert and end in Palm Springs.
We will meet up with group hiking from Palm Springs. Once we connect the Palm Springs group will turn around and continue with us to the end of the trail. You will need to make arrangements for transportation back to your car at Art Smith.
17 Miles with Elevation gain of 3350 ft.
We honor our friend and fellow hike leader Nancy Bone who passed away from Covid. This was one of the many hikes she lead.
