"A hiker with a biking problem"--that's what Mary's card reads. Since her retirement as an executive from a medical device company, hiking and biking have been her job. Mary recently relocated permanently to Palm Desert after 10 years as a snowbird. She has been a club member for over 10 years, hike leader, and served on the Executive Council as Social Chairperson and Club President. Mary is also on the Board for the Friends of CV Link, a transportation corridor from Palm Springs to the Salton Sea. Mary leads bike rides across the valley.

BEAR CREEK HIKE TO OASIS
Hike to an Oasis. This trail offers panoramic views in every direction. After the first two miles, on a clear day, you can see the Salton Sea and most of the Coachella Valley. The views of La Quinta and the hills and the rocks of the area are beautiful. On this trail, you feel isolated from the hustle and bustle of the valley below.
