BIRDS OF THE SALTON SEA

This event isn’t really a hike but it’s a really fun and educational experience that you might enjoy. You drive your own car and moderator, Kurt Leuschner, communicates through hand-held radios that he puts in each car.

Kurt has been a frequent lecturer to our club and he is a phenomenal story teller. Kurt has an MS in Wildlife Ecology and is a Professor of Natural Resources.

Car pooling encouraged as much as possible.
