Margaret is a new hike leader for CVHC. She's a snowbird, living in La Quinta during the winters and Anacortes, WA during the summers. She's hiked, scrambled, and kayaked with the Mountaineers in WA and participated in CVHC hikes since 2017.

BOO HOFF OUT AND BACK
This hike starts at the La Quinta Cove Oasis trailhead and offers a great climb up followed by the relief of going down!
While the first part of the trail is relatively flat, there’s a steep section with full sun exposure. Hikers should bring at least 1-1/2 liters of water.
7.35 miles with elevation gain of 1500 ft, at a moderate pace to complete the hike in 3.5 – 4 hours round trip.
Meet at the La Quinta Cove Oasis trailhead, at the west end of Calle Tecate.
