Charles Buck winters in Palm Desert with his wife, Dianne. Their enjoyment of the desert weather has brought them back to the desert for many years. They have recently sold their home of 40 years in Minnesota and moved to New Hampshire, to be closer to their son and family. Charles also enjoys hiking in the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire.
CAHUILLA PARK TO HOPALONG TO ART SMITH
3/14/2020 UPDATE: DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS SITUATION, THIS HIKE WILL NOT BE A SHUTTLE. WE WILL START AT CAHUILLA PARK, GO HALF WAY TO THE ART SMITH TRAILHEAD, AND THEN RETURN TO CAHUILLA PARK.
Starting at the tennis courts in Cahuilla Park, we will traverse past scenic and exclusive golf course in the valley. Great views and Big Horn Sheep sighting is not unusual.
8 Miles with Elevation gain of 2600 ft.
