EAGLE CLIFF AND DESERT QUEEN MINES

Highlight of the hike is a well preserved miners’ cabin from late 19th century.   The cabin is enclosed by large granite boulders with artifacts, glass paned windows and stone chimney.   This desert gem described by some as the coolest destination in Joshua Tree National Park.

The trail that we’ll hike to reach the cabin takes us past several old mines, machinery and other ruins.

5 Miles with an Elevation gain of 600 ft.

The group is limited to eight fully vaccinated hikers.
