"A hiker with a biking problem"--that's what Mary's card reads. Since her retirement as an executive from a medical device company, hiking and biking have been her job. Mary recently relocated permanently to Palm Desert after 10 years as a snowbird. She has been a club member for over 10 years, hike leader, and served on the Executive Council as Social Chairperson and Club President. Mary is also on the Board for the Friends of CV Link, a transportation corridor from Palm Springs to the Salton Sea. Mary leads bike rides across the valley.

GUNSITE BOULDER CLIMB

Bouldering in Joshua Tree at Gunsite is very different from hiking! Gloves with rough surface like gardening gloves will save shredding palms.  Knee pads are nice but optional. Really fun if you like adventure!  Probably our most difficult bouldering hike requiring upper body strength, balance for narrow ledges, steep ascents and descents.

Co leader:  Bill Stewart

3 Miles with Elevation gain 800 ft.
