Charles Buck winters in Palm Desert with his wife, Dianne. Their enjoyment of the desert weather has brought them back to the desert for many years. They have recently sold their home of 40 years in Minnesota and moved to New Hampshire, to be closer to their son and family. Charles also enjoys hiking in the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire.

HERMAN’S PEAK
We normally start this hike in the Coachella Valley Preserve. But since it’s closed we’ll meet at the Willis Palms Trailhead. It’s on your left, after you turn north on Thousand Palms Canyon Road.
7 Miles with elevation gain 1200 ft
Masks are required for the meetup. Social distancing is required at all times. Masks on the trail are optional but recommended when meeting other groups.
