Charles Buck winters in Palm Desert with his wife, Dianne. Their enjoyment of the desert weather has brought them back to the desert for many years. They have recently sold their home of 40 years in Minnesota and moved to New Hampshire, to be closer to their son and family. Charles also enjoys hiking in the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire.

HERMAN’S PEAK LOOP
In the Coachella Valley Preserve, from the visitor center, go north and west to Herman’s Peak. Continue south to Willis Palms and return north on the east side o Thousand Palms road.
