Charles winters in Palm Desert with his wife Dianne. Enjoyment of the desert weather has brought them back to the desert many times over the last 40 years. Their summer home is in New Hampshire, where he hikes with the Green Mountain Club. He enjoys hiking and pool time here and there with our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter.

An old favorite in the Santa Rosas, albeit an upside down one. Hike down to the creek to cactus springs. Then turn around and do the hard part!
We’ll meet at 7:45 at Saint Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 47535 CA-74, Palm Desert and carpool to the trailhead.
