Charles Buck winters in Palm Desert with his wife, Dianne. Their enjoyment of the desert weather has brought them back to the desert for many years. They have recently sold their home of 40 years in Minnesota and moved to New Hampshire, to be closer to their son and family. Charles also enjoys hiking in the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire.

INDIO BADLANDS (aka) SAVANNAH STORM
This is a 5 mile loop that starts out on the level desert and transitions into canyons with beautiful rock formations. It climbs up gently to offer scenic views of the valley and the Salton Sea. Some slot canyons and dry waterfalls included!
Masks are required for the meetup. Social distancing is required at all times. Masks on the trail are optional but recommended when meeting other groups.
