Bernard and "Herbie" (Anne Herbert) spend spring, summer and fall at home on Vancouver Island, BC. Their winters are spent in and around the Coachella Valley. They enjoy sailing, hiking, birding, flowers, geology, natural history and photography.
Location
LOST HORSE MINE LOOP
Historical hike to one the the largest gold mines and stamp mills in the park. This hike is a scenic desert loop that passes by other small mining operations and many Joshua Trees. Interesting geology features as well.
7 Miles with Elevation gain of 1300 ft.
