Changed! Stubbes Loop in Joshua Tree National Park
A beautiful hike off of Keys View road in Joshua Tree National Park. Beautiful vistas, lots of lizards and the occasional rattle snake! This is a fun hike with an easy to follow trail (mostly). A bit of elevation gain is involved (cumulative ~1000 feet).
12.3 Miles round trip with Elevation gain of 1000 ft. This is a longish hike at a moderate pace and the footing is suitable for running shoes, but boots are okay. As always, bring , water, food, sun protection, etc.
Meet at the trailhead parking area at 8:00 AM. Hike limited to 10 participants. Here is a map of the trail with the parking area indicated: https://caltopo.com/m/16J0N
