Cathy is from Winnetka IL, where she directs and choreographs a children's theater. She has been coming to our desert for the past 4 years and rediscovered her love for hiking. She spends 5 and 1/2 months here and have never met a hike that she didn't love! She can't wait to explore new hikes and take people on some of her favorites. The desert is so beautiful and there are so many hikes to explore!
Location
LYKKEN TRAIL SOUTH TO NORTH
Start on South Palm Canyon at the Lykken trailhead. Go up to first picnic tables then continue on mostly gently trail to a second set off picnic tables. From there, descend to street level and take a one mile stroll over the Ramon Road where the North Lykken trail continues. Up the trail climbs to yet another set of picnic tables. Continue on toward the damn and North Palm Springs ending up in the iconic Little Tuscany.
