MURRAY PEAK FROM GARSTIN TRAILHEAD
Starting in South Palm Springs off of Bogert St, this is one of many ways up Murray Hill/Peak. A favorite all season long with sweeping views of the valley, big horn sheep, even an occasional desert turtle can be spotted.
7.5 Miles with Elevation gain of 2000 ft.
The trailhead is inconspicuous and located in a residential area. From S Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs, turn left on Bogert Trail (paved street) and continue across the bridge for 0.8 miles. Then turn left on to the block-long Barona Road residential street. The trailhead is past the last house on your right while facing the barricade at the end of the street. Park on the street.
