OAK CANYON POTHOLES – CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN
This strenuous 6-7 hour loop hike requires agility, flexibility and some scrambling experience to negotiate the boulders and vegetation that crowd sections of this remote canyon in the Queen Mountain area (JTNP). The reward at the end of the hike is a collection of water-sculpted, polished rock slabs full of deep potholes. Short side treks lead to a waterfall and to an overlook above the Wonderland of Rocks.
8.0 Miles with Elevation gain of 900 ft.
