PALM SPRINGS HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR — MIDCENTURY SHOWCASE

We’re pleased to offer a historical walk led by Mike Paonessa.

Stroll through Deepwell Estates, a pristine midcentury neighborhood with its collection of elegant Modernist homes, designed by the desert’s most revered architects.

Architects E. Stewart Williams, Donald Wexler, and Hugh Kaptur shine here. Some of Hollywood’s biggest names lived in these well-manicured properties boasting some of the most attractive desert landscaping in Palm Springs. Loretta Young, William Holden, Carmen Miranda, Jerry Lewis and Liberace are just a few of the stars that called Deepwell home.

Tour will start at the corner of E Mesquite Avenue and Manzanita Avenue, Palm Springs.

Easy walk. 

The fee to participate has been discounted to $30 for Coachella Valley Hiking Club members. The Palm Springs Historical Society normally offers this tour for $35 to the general public. Pay Shirl Donahue in advance via Venmo (@Shirley-Donahue).
