Palm Springs Historical Walking Tour – Mesa Neighborhood – FULL
Show Biz Legends Hideaway
The Mesa is a beautiful secluded neighborhood with a fascinating assortment of eclectic architecture. It boasts one of Palm Springs’ most stunning architectural anomalies, the Santorini House.
Ranging from romantic Spanish Colonial Revival to dramatic Contemporary Modern, these hillside hideaways were home to Hollywood’s elite. Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner, Sonny and Cher, Suzanne Somers and music legend Johnny Mercer, just to name a few, lived in the protective shadow of the San Jacinto mountains. Today, legend Barry Manilow enjoys this slice of paradise.
The Mesa walk will be led by Mike Hyman and Shirl Donahue. Be prepared to sing Moon River with us.
Meet at S. Mesa Drive and West Camino Carmelita.
Easy walk.
The fee to participate has been discounted to $30 for Coachella Valley Hiking Club, this is normally $35 to $45 dollars. Pay Shirl Donahue with cash or Venmo.
