"A hiker with a biking problem"--that's what Mary's card reads. Since her retirement as an executive from a medical device company, hiking and biking have been her job. Mary recently relocated permanently to Palm Desert after 10 years as a snowbird. She has been a club member for over 10 years, hike leader, and served on the Executive Council as Social Chairperson and Club President. Mary is also on the Board for the Friends of CV Link, a transportation corridor from Palm Springs to the Salton Sea. Mary leads bike rides across the valley.

Located in the Pioneertown Mountains Preserve, one of 3 local areas managed by the Wildlands Conservancy. From the gate and parking area, the footpath trail climbs to 5500 feet with great views of the surrounding landscape.
6 Miles with Elevation gain of 1300 feet.
