SAM’S ROX (AKA SAMUELSON’S ROCKS) – HIKE IS FULL

THIS HIKE IS NOW FULL. PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING ANOTHER CVHC EVENT.

*********************************

Hike to artifacts left behind by one of the desert eccentrics who definitely made his mark literally and figuratively.  Although Joshua Tree is full of rocks, Sam’s are particularly special.

This is an opportunity for visiting an out-of-the way special point of interest in the park.

Please note that we won’t take the usual approach to the site, exploring excellent overviews along the way.

6 miles, with 500 feet elevation gain. Limited to 12 hikers.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME HIKING WITH NANCY, PLEASE CALL. IF YOU HAVE HIKED WITH NANCY BEFORE, PLEASE EMAIL.

HIKE LEADER: Nancy Pringle

HIKE LOCATOR: Joshua Tree, West Entrance

HIKE DIFFICULTY: Moderate
