Philip founded the CVHC in 1992 and formalized the group as a hiking club in 1993. He has led over 450 hikes for the club. Philip also has authored the #1 all-time best selling Regional book "140 Great Hikes in and Near Palm Springs," as well as "Colorado State Parks: A Complete Recreation Guide" and "Hiking! The Ultimate Natural Prescription for Health & Wellness." President of "Transformation Seminars" since 1981, Philip is available for slide shows and seminars. He winters in Palm Desert & summers near Boulder, Colorado. Hikes for fun, adventure, scenic beauty, and geologically interesting areas are his specialty. SANTA ROSA MOUNTAINS WALKABOUT
Hike in the Santa Rosa Mountains along a beautiful nature trail, offering scenic views of the Santa Rosas and surrounding mountain ranges. This is a 2 /2.5+ hike. We will meet at trailhead.
2/2.5+ miles with 200 foot elevation gain.
