SKYLINE 1/4 WAY TO THE TRAM

From the end Ramon Road, we will follow the N Lykken up a steep pitch, continue on the meandering trail to the picnic tables, and then intersect the epic Skyline trail for a taste of what the journey is like to the Tram. There will be great views of the valley along the way. This demanding trail provides a good work out both up and down. Because of the steepness of this hike and the irregularities in the trail surface, poles are helpful for anyone with knee issues. Our pace will be moderate but steady.

6 Miles with Elevation gain of 2000 ft.

We’ll start from the North Lykken trailhead, located at the western terminus of West Ramon Road. Please arrive at the trailhead and be ready to go at 7:30 AM.
