STRAWBERRY VALLEY LOOP
Hike starts in Idyllwild at the Deer Springs trailhead and ends at Humber Park. Humber park requires permit for car and one also needs to stop at the ranger station in Idyllwild for a hike permit. Hike ascends through a forest of pines and firs which are some of the most beautiful in Southern California. Strawberry Creek carves a scenic valley out of the south slopes of Marion Mountain and San Jacinto Ridge. This hike follows part of the PCT until it depends the Devils Slide trail. It can be done in reverse or as a key exchange but either way cars have to be at each end!
12 Miles with Elevation gain of 3700 ft
