TRAIL MAINTENANCE – LA QUINTA COVE

Howdy Trailheads!

We’re off into to the wilderness again this time.  We are heading out to the Bear Creek Trail from the La Quinta Cove and will be doing some erosion repair in this area.

Please meet at 8:00 AM at the small parking lot which is at the West side of Tecate Street. This is the street at the top of the Cove. You can reach it either from Eisenhower or Bermudas from Washington Street. Do not park in the big lot with the restroom as we will not be there.  The small lot is about ½ mile to the West.

Please bring all your usual trail building stuff along with extra water and snack as you see fit.  It will involve about a 3 mile hike and will wrap it up as soon as we get back. Hope to see you soon!

Please call or text Gary Ward, CVHC Trail Maintenance liaison, 949-285-4664, if you have any questions.
