Gary Ward has lived in the Valley since 2008 and has been active in either CVHC or Desert Trails Hiking Club since then. As a Council Member of DTHC, he helped merge the two hiking clubs in 2022. Gary retired from his position as Chief Real Estate Appraiser. He has over 25 years hiking experience in CA and has been involved in trail work for 10+ years. He also works with Friends of the Desert Mountains on full moon hikes, scorpion hunts and invasive weed abatement.
TRAIL MAINTENANCE
Trail maintenance is a weekly event on Tuesdays from November 2022 through March 2023. Watch this space for details on the next trail maintenance event. Details of the planned work and location are typically posted on the Sunday before the event.
