I am a Kansas City native and moved here in 2011. I joined the hiking club and fell in love with our mountains. The CVHC has made such a difference in my life. Leading hikes allows me to meet so many people and share the joy of a day spent outdoors. Between the San Jacinto, Joshua Tree, our valley, Idyllwild, and Mecca there is a lot to discover in the Palm Springs area. If not on the trail, I am most likely cooking or playing canasta or mahjong.

WEST FORK TO ANDREAS CANYON
Shuttle required for this heart throbbing, water crossings, view stopping, mountain loving hiker. Great views of the Coachella Valley, Indian Canyons, Palm Groves and San Jacinto Peak. There is a fee to enter the Indian Canyons.
8.5 Miles with Elevation gain of 2300 ft.
