PANORAMA LOOP

The trail starts at the Ranger station in the Blackrock Campground which is in the very NW portion of Joshua Tree National Park. (This is not the Bigfoot Panorama Loop).

The Panorama Loop trail offers some of the most interesting high elevation flora and some of the most spectacular views of JTNP. You’ll hike up a sandy wash before climbing switchbacks to a ridge to enjoy the spectacular views.

The hike starts at a 4000ft elevation and it could be very cool in January. Warm jacket, layers, hat and gloves required and poles helpful. In the event of snow the hike will be rescheduled.

6.2 miles, 1000 foot elevation gain. At a moderate pace, we should complete the hike in about 3 hours, round trip. Details of where to meet will follow.

Please email Debbie  to sign up for this hike and provide your phone number.
