YUCCA PEAK
Starts at the Whitewater Ranger station in the Whitewater Preserve. This trail follows the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) south toward the windmills. Great views, hopefully some flowers and PCT northbound through hikers (who will love donations of fresh fruit if you can fit some in your pack). This hike will be canceled if there’s a wind advisory.
Plan to meet a few minutes before 8:00 AM at the Ranger Station gate — note we may change the meeting/start location depending on the condition of the bridges in the preserve.
This will be a FAST paced hike totaling about 9 Miles, with an elevation gain of about 1800 ft.
