Philip founded the CVHC in 1992 and formalized the group as a hiking club in 1993. He has led over 450 hikes for the club. Philip also has authored the #1 all-time best selling Regional book "140 Great Hikes in and Near Palm Springs," as well as "Colorado State Parks: A Complete Recreation Guide" and "Hiking! The Ultimate Natural Prescription for Health & Wellness." President of "Transformation Seminars" since 1981, Philip is available for slide shows and seminars. He winters in Palm Desert & summers near Boulder, Colorado. Hikes for fun, adventure, scenic beauty, and geologically interesting areas are his specialty. A HIKING SAFARI
Explore what the Santa Rosa Mountains and Garner Valley have to offer by visiting 8-10 trails. We will hike part of some trails but the focus is learning what our mountains have to offer. A FUN Adventure!
If you have Phil’s hiking book, 140 Great Hikes in and near Palm Springs, bring it or paper to take notes. And remember to bring your camera!
